The Ridgeflex Ankle Joint is manufactured by ST&G using a proprietary material called Prepalon. Prepalon is made from Continuous Fiber Elastomer Technology (CFET), providing optimal balance between rigidity and flexibility. The CFET makes the tendon design possible, providing smooth movement, proper support in the sagittal plane, and rotational control. Continuous fibre blended within the elastomer provides structure and rigidity, preventing the joint from stretching. It also eliminates the need for string that is used in other joints, and the need to use a higher density elastomer to increase the tear strength. The more flexible elastomer increases the tear strength and the blended fibre increases the support provided. Features:- Dynamic rotational control
- Dynamic dampening provides better range of motion control
- Easy fabrication
- Available in standard and dorsi assist
- Fabrication dummies available separately
