Mechanism for both safe and comfort – the world’s first 6-Bar Hydraulic Knee Joint

The Symphony knee is designed with the world’s first 6 Bar polycentric structure that provides an extremely high level of stability during stance phase. Using special technology, with an initial swing that feels as light as with a pneumatic cylinder, it is now possible to walk easily using hydraulics. The Symphony’s innovative mechanical sensor, the p-MRS system, automatically detects gait status and controls the stability of the knee joint accordingly.

The Selective Lock function allows the user to, at any time, switch between free knee and locked knee modes. If the user feels unsafe with the knee being free, the knee can be locked to prevent buckling.
