The Ortho Active Hinged Knee Brace is designed to provide medial and lateral support to the knee as well as stabilize the patella and provide compression and warmth. This version wraps around the knee (with adjustable elastic straps above and below the patella). This style which is ideal for patients who have trouble pulling on a sleeve-style knee brace, patients with swelling or those who require extra adjustability.
Features:
- We updated the wrap design of this brace in 2020 so that the brace applies to the front of the knee and wraps around the back of the leg, attaching on the other side of the brace. This design provides better support than the previous version and it is easy to adjust.
- Includes a felt patella stabilizer that attaches with Velcro and can be removed
- Hinges may be removed and molded to the leg to provide a custom fit
- Material options include Neoprene or Coolprene
