This very rigid transparent material will not break, crack or shatter when dropped. It is virtually indestructible, but you can still easily drill into Orfitrans Stiff. You will love the way it pulls (easily and uniformly) and the material feels great. It is available in thicknesses of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 15mm.

Sale!OP-TEK® Flex materials are soft, flexible EVA copolymers that provide outstanding patient comfort when used as an inner liner for rigid socket frames. OP-TEK® Flex materials are specially formulated to maintain more consistent walls during forming compared to other flexible plastics. OP-TEK® Flex is specially formulated to maintain more consistent walls during forming compared with many other flexible plastics. OP-TEK® Flex Comfort exhibits excellent seaming characteristics during drape forming, and more consistent walls during blister/bubble forming compared with many other EVA copolymer materials. This material is made with a lubricant additive that reduces friction without compromising performance during forming. *3mm thickness 24x48 sheet, on sale now! OP-TEK® Flex BiLam provides added comfort and improves aesthetics for patients wearing carbon socket frames. The inner layer contains a hypoallergenic, FDA compliant additive that reduces friction, and the outer layer helps hide trim lines and window cut-outs of carbon socket frames. OP-TEK® Flexible EVA is Widely Used For:Â
- Soft inner liners for rigid socket frames
- Inner boots for pediatric AFOs
- Orthotics for hand and wrist
- Excellent moldability
- Lightweight
- Maintains consistent walls when formed

Polypropylene is a low cost, chemical resistant plastic with excellent aesthetic qualities. It is easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment and is often fabricated into water and chemical tanks. Polypropylene used in the manufacturing of upper and lower extremity orthoses and prosthetics offers the O&P fabricator a material that is easy to drape, blister form and seam. Polypropylene is easy to decorate with transfer patterns for O&P applications.

A transparent plastic material with outstanding thermoformability, good impact resistance, and FDA compliance. PETG is often used for applications that require durability, deep draw thermoforming, and clarity. For O&P fabricators, PETG is a good choice where transparency is important (check sockets).

RCH 500 or subortholene is a highly versatile, high-molecular weight plastic that is ideal for many orthotic applications
- Rigid enough to provide a high level of support without the brittle characteristics associated with plastics of similar rigidity
- Stiff, limited flexibility makes this material ideal for footplates and foot orthotic shells
- Can be used for UCBL and SMO orthotics
- Limited auto-adhesive properties

High density polyethylene is ideal for non-weight bearing orthotic applications where long-term structural support is required such as upper extremity orthoses. Low density polyethylene is ideal where flexible plastic is needed as a protective barrier, for example, where a tongue is required to shield the limb from the pressure of straps.
